World’s Toughest Row 2024: An Epic Journey Across the Atlantic

The passion for pushing boundaries and the dedication to noble causes were the driving forces behind our recent participation as sponsors of the annual Atlantic rowing race, an extraordinary event that successfully concluded this January.

A Unique Challenge in the Heart of the Ocean

The race, known as one of the most extreme tests in the world, brought together teams from across the globe in the picturesque racing village of San Sebastián, La Gomera, in the Canary Islands. With an electrifying atmosphere, participants embarked on a monumental challenge: rowing 3,000 miles across the mighty Atlantic Ocean, braving harsh marine conditions, overcoming physical and mental barriers, and forging friendships that will last a lifetime.

This event is not just a competition; it is a transformative experience. Crossing the finish line, every rower becomes part of a select community of adventurers who have defied the elements and achieved something extraordinary.

Deep Blue Crew: Heroes of the Atlantic

This year, we are proud to have sponsored the Deep Blue Crew, an extraordinary team of four rowers: Paddy Ronan, Gus Knott, Matt Bromham, and Jack Ogden. With an indomitable spirit and a clear mission, Deep Blue set out on their Atlantic journey in December 2024 with two main goals: to live an unforgettable adventure and to raise funds for three charitable organizations:

–  Tusk Trust: Wildlife conservation in Africa.

–  Clocktower Foundation: Supporting vulnerable communities.

–  My Name’5 Doddie Foundation: Research to fight MND (Motor Neurone Disease.

After 39 days, 6 hours, and 55 minutes of relentless rowing, the team achieved an outstanding milestone: they finished in second place, a remarkable accomplishment in one of the world’s toughest endurance challenges.

The End of an Epic Journey

Crossing the finish line in Antigua on January 19th at 10:40 local time, the Deep Blue Crew demonstrated exceptional determination and resilience. Their efforts not only led them to secure a podium finish but also inspired others to support the causes they championed with such enthusiasm.

Our Commitment as Sponsors

Supporting this initiative was an honor and a reflection of our values: fostering personal growth, resilience, and solidarity. We believe that events like this not only highlight the power of teamwork but also contribute to creating a positive impact in the world through the charitable causes they promote.

We thank the Deep Blue Crew for carrying our name on their journey and showing us that with determination and purpose, no ocean is too vast, and no goal is unreachable.
