The insurance market in Morocco has long-term growth potential but is either untapped or underdeveloped. There is demand for the whole spec-
trum of covers, including life, savings products and property.

As a result of reinforced supervision, the market has witnessed major consolidation for many years now. Government efforts to grow insurance pen- etration and developing infrastructure are likely to support increased premium volumes in the coming years.
