BARENTS RE, a reinsurer with Latin American capital, has recently opened new offices in Madrid with which it begins its facultative reinsurance operations and Non-Life contracts, focusing its attention on the markets of the Iberian Peninsula. The reinsurer’s operations will be led by Guido Romani, known in the market for his past professional reinsurance career at GEN RE over the past five years in Spain and Latin America, as well as previously in Italy.
