Barents Re Appoints Deputy Head of Energy

Barents Re is announcing today the appointment of Perry Muncaster as Deputy Head of Energy. Perry will be based in the London office and will report to Chris Charlton, UK Managing Director and Head of Energy.

Perry Muncaster joins from JLT London where developed and placed facultative energy reinsurance business on a worldwide basis over the past 3 years. Perry was previously based for 5 years in Dubai where he established JLT’s reinsurance presence in the DIFC. Prior to joining JLT Dubai, Perry was Managing Director at Marsh Energy London responsible for the downstream energy broking team in London placing worldwide risks into the London and worldwide markets.

Barents Re Appoints Head of Financial Lines

Barents Re is announcing today the appointment of Keith Foster to head its Financial Lines business. Keith will be based in the London office and will report to Chris Charlton, UK Managing Director.

Keith Foster has over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of insurance, predominantly in financial lines underwriting alongside broking experience and in client-side risk management. Keith’s particular area of specialism is underwriting for global and domestic financial institutions including banks, investment managers, private equity and venture capital firms, corporate finance, stockbrokers, stock exchanges, trusts and corporate service providers such as fund administrators. Keith joins from CNA Hardy where he was Senior Financial Institutions Underwriter for their retail and Lloyd’s syndicate Financial Lines business.
