Barents Re Reinsurance Company, Inc. (Barents Re), announces the decision to close down the Representative Office of Barents Re in Russia. Effective from March 14th of 2022, no new or renewal reinsurance business via the Moscow Representative Office is authorized, and no extensions or broader coverage granted to in-force policies.
