Barents Re Announces Strategic Leadership Shift with New CEO and Executive Chairman

The objective of this communication is to inform that the Board of Directors of Barents Re Reinsurance Company, Inc., has approved a reorganization of the Senior Management of Barents Re Reinsurance Company, Inc., subject to the authorization of the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority.

Mr. Gary Callaghan has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Company. Gary brings his leadership, professional experience in the industry, a proven track record of success, and an in-depth understanding of our organization.

In addition, Mr. Gerardo Garcia has assumed the role of Executive Chairman of the Company. As Executive Chairman, Mr. Garcia will provide guidance and strategic direction with his expertise and experience, assisting with the effective communication and alignment between the Board of Directors and management of the Company.
